Really, I didn't understand how great the Croatian ferries were. Enclosed spaces, padded chairs, a bar.
The ride to the Aran Islands was nothing like that. Think wet. Think sitting on a hard box. Think totally dry.
I did not lose my lunch. On the way back, much calmer, I actually fell asleep.
Go Croatia!

hmm, i seem to recall there were indoor seats in the Aran Island ferry that i took ... it was kinda hard to have a conversation with Ciaran O' Shea - she's nummie, but it was indoors none the less.
now ya know why i need to spend a few grand once a year or every two to have a good Guinness under the guise of applying for a job!
welcome home, don't forget how the Guinness tasted over there when ya come back and do some taste tests ... this is what happens if you replace "force" with "pants"
Vader: "He is here"
Grand Moff Tarkin: "Obi-Wan Kenobi? What makes you think so?"
Vader: "A tremor in the pants. The last time I felt this was in the presence of my old master."
Yoda: "Size matters not!"
Is it true that Aer Lingus has the best looking FA's of any airline? Just checking...
OH - I don't believe I forgot to tell you this - The boat's name was Happy Hooker. Really.
And there were some seats inside. But on the ride out, it was too crowded to get one of these at all.
And I flew American, not Aer Lingus. I can't really say that I noticed the FA's...
