What happened?

I was in the grocery store Friday, and I noticed the absence of banana milk. Banana flavored milk was a great treat for me. Apparently, when I left the country, it tipped the scales. Not enough people were into it to keep it in the stores.

I do have to admit that it's taken me several months to note the disappearance, so I shouldn't be shocked. But now that I can't have it, I want it all the more.

Never heard of banana milk. Is that like kefir? Or like the horchata they have at the mexican places? Man, that horchata stuff is great. A place up here makes it with tons of cinnamon and it is like a drug.

No - kefir is much thicker. This was a yellow bottle with the Quik bunny on it. You could get banana, strawberry, or chocolate flavored milk. I'd be ok with it if they would come out with the powder to make banana in the same way it's possible with the other two aforementioned flavors.

I believe the horchata is a way of preparing rice milk, and flavoring it just so. One of my mother's all-time favorite treats. Marcia - it was a treat to see you again and talk a bit last weekend, well two weekends ago now. You are one of the people that enrich my life. Hope to see you more often now! Chris K
